FAQ

What does a route cost? The quote answers it directly: how much arrives in your wallet and how long it takes. The provider's own fee and the network gas are listed in the same quote, in the same units. Quotes and approvals cost nothing.

Why is the route with the biggest number not always first? Because the ranking subtracts fees paid in native gas. A route that delivers one token for one token but costs a quarter of a dollar in LayerZero message fees loses to a route that delivers a fraction of a cent less and costs nothing extra. The list is sorted by what lands in your wallet.

Why do two providers quote different dollar values for the same token? They use different price oracles. Qubit ignores that for ranking and values everything on one basis: stablecoins at par, native tokens at one reference price. Otherwise the order of the list would depend on whose oracle was more optimistic.

Do I need gas on the destination chain? Not for USDC bridged through Circle CCTP: our relayer delivers it. For other rails, delivery is the provider's job and also needs no gas from you. If you arrive somewhere with an empty wallet, use gas refuel.

How fast is it? Seconds to about three minutes for most routes. Circle's standard path waits for source-chain finality, roughly twenty minutes, and is free; the fast path costs about 1.4 basis points and takes half a minute. Private multi-hop transfers take fifteen to forty-five minutes.

What is a private route? A trade that settles where public indexers cannot follow it. Confidential settlement through NEAR Intents costs essentially the same as a public route. See private routes.

How are points earned? One point for each cent Qubit earns on your trade, so a route where we keep more pays you more. Multipliers apply for early seasons, private routes, staked NFTs and referrals. Full rules: points.

Why did my trade earn zero points? Most likely it was under five dollars, or it was the return leg of a round trip within a day, or the transaction has not been confirmed yet. Points credit only after on-chain confirmation and, for bridges, after the provider reports delivery.

Does the recipient need gas to receive a CCTP transfer? No. Qubit calls the mint on the destination chain, so the transfer lands in the wallet without a second signature and without any gas there. The cost of that is included in the quote and paid by the sender, so nothing is deducted on arrival.

Can I bind more than one wallet? Yes. A profile holds several EVM and Solana addresses, bound by signature, and points accumulate across all of them. Signing costs nothing and sends no transaction.

Which chains are supported? Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, X Layer, Plasma, Berachain, Unichain, Sonic, World Chain, Ink, HyperEVM, Monad, Robinhood Chain, Sei, Mantle, Flare, Stable, MegaETH, Morph and Solana. Not every provider covers every chain; the quote shows who answered.

Does Qubit hold my funds? No. Trades execute on provider contracts. The only Qubit contract in the path splits a single transfer and ends the transaction empty.

Is the code public? Not yet. Contracts and SDK are published with the public launch.
